250 g brined grape leaves (or fresh grape leaves)

How to Make Olive Oil–Stuffed Grape Leaves

If using brined grape leaves, soak them in hot water for 10 minutes to remove excess salt, then drain.

Rinse the rice and place it in a large bowl to drain well.

Finely chop the onions and sauté them in olive oil until translucent.

Add the pine nuts and continue sautéing lightly.

Stir in the tomato paste and cook for a few more minutes.

Add the rice and sauté for about 5 minutes.

Add the dried currants, spices, sugar, and hot water. Stir and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes, until the liquid is absorbed.
